Geoff was born in London in 1950. He emigrated to Australia in 1973.
Now semi-retired after many career changes including working at the Ringwood Aquatic Centre for 20 years. He currently works part time at Rod Laver Arena and entertainment precinct. Lots on concerts, and sports: A fervent Hawthorn supporter and Queens Park Rangers in English soccer.
He listened to lots of music in London, especially from early sixties on Radio Luxemburg and pirate radio stations - London and Caroline and started buying vinyl singles and albums in late 50’s. He has an all-round approach to most other genres of music especially blues, Motown, soul and seventies progressive rock and jazz. He has an extensive collection of music (concert) DVDs.
He likes to keep up to date with latest music, but predominantly plays sixties and seventies on "The Good Times" with David Arthur on Tuesday nights and smooth listening on Thursday Breakfast: alternating with John McDonald also sitting in with Murray Smith on the "Crossroads" blues show Thursday nights.
